Blank Space Photography — Terms & Conditions of Service

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 “Blank Space Photography” means the photography business operated under ABN 21 638 988 167.
1.2 “Client” means the individual, business, or representative engaging Blank Space Photography for photographic or videographic services.
1.3 “Services” means all photography, videography, editing, retouching, and related creative work provided by Blank Space Photography.
1.4 “Deliverables” refers to the final edited images, video files, or other agreed outputs supplied to the Client.
1.5 “Booking” refers to any confirmed engagement or agreed date for the provision of Services.

2. BOOKINGS AND CONFIRMATION

2.1 A booking is confirmed once the Client accepts a written quote or proposal issued by Blank Space Photography. Email confirmation is sufficient for acceptance.
2.2 Scheduling is subject to availability. Clients are encouraged to provide at least 48 hours’ notice for preferred dates and times.
2.3 By confirming a booking, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full.

3. SCOPE OF SERVICES

3.1 Blank Space Photography provides professional photography and videography services for real estate, architecture, design, and lifestyle brands.
3.2 Each project is quoted individually based on scope, location, usage, and required deliverables.
3.3 Any work outside the original agreed scope will be subject to a separate quotation or additional fee.

4. TURNAROUND TIME

4.1 Standard turnaround for delivery of edited images is 24–48 hours from the date of the shoot.
4.2 Larger projects, video production, or special edits may require longer turnaround times; the Client will be advised prior to commencement.

5. DELIVERY OF FILES

5.1 Deliverables are provided digitally via an online gallery or secure download link.
5.2 Delivery links remain active for 14 days from the date of issue. The Client is responsible for downloading and safely storing all files within this period.

6. USAGE RIGHTS AND LICENSING

6.1 All images and videos remain the intellectual property of Blank Space Photography.
6.2 Upon full payment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence to use the Deliverables solely for marketing the property, project, or business for which the Services were commissioned.
6.3 Deliverables may not be resold, distributed, or used by third parties (including but not limited to stylists, builders, suppliers, or designers) without written consent.
6.4 A licensing fee of $250 applies for any third-party or extended commercial use.

7. CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING

7.1 Cancellations or reschedules must be made in writing and acknowledged by Blank Space Photography during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm).
7.2 Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled shoot are non-refundable.
7.3 Bookings cancelled on the day of the shoot or after the photographer’s arrival on site will incur the full quoted fee.
7.4 Blank Space Photography reserves the right to waive or modify cancellation fees at its discretion in exceptional circumstances.

8. WEATHER AND SITE CONDITIONS

8.1 In the event of unsuitable weather or site conditions, Blank Space Photography may reschedule the shoot at no additional cost.
8.2 The Client must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property or location at the agreed time.

9. PAYMENT TERMS

9.1 An invoice will be issued prior to the completion of the shoot unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9.2 Full payment is due seven (7) days before the scheduled service as specified in the invoice.
9.3 Late payment may delay delivery or result in additional administrative fees.

10. EDITING AND RETOUCHING

10.1 All Deliverables are professionally edited in accordance with Blank Space Photography’s established visual style.
10.2 Requests for additional retouching, object removal, or specific alterations outside the standard edit may incur an additional charge.

11. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

11.1 The Client (or a representative) must ensure the property or subject is ready for photography at the scheduled time.
11.2 Blank Space Photography is not responsible for delays, reduced quality, or incomplete coverage caused by access issues, property readiness, or ongoing works.

12. COPYRIGHT AND CREDIT

12.1 Copyright remains with Blank Space Photography at all times.
12.2 Crediting Blank Space Photography when images are shared publicly (e.g., social media, websites, press features) is appreciated but not mandatory.

13. LIABILITY

13.1 While all reasonable care is taken, Blank Space Photography accepts no liability for loss, damage, or delay arising from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, equipment failure, or technical issues.
13.2 In no event shall Blank Space Photography’s liability exceed the total amount paid for the Services rendered.

14. GOVERNING LAW

14.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia.
14.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.

Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
All communications and scheduling requests are handled within these hours.
